South East Operations Officer
Due to growth within the South East division of Impact we are seeking an accomplished individual to work with existing systems and develop new ones to support our Drivers and Business development team to ensure effective delivery of all Impact services.
A supportive role to all areas of the business, you will be responsible for schedules, stock management, maintaining databases and helping to grow our presence in Brighton, Sussex and Kent.
Working with the South East team the post is an essential element of our business and will ensure we continue to deliver a market-leading service for our customers.
Job Description
The role is mainly office/warehouse based. You will be required to maintain current systems and encouraged to identify new opportunities to maximise our opportunities.
Working alone and within a team you must be self motivated and able to achieve all essential weekly tasks alongside managing ongoing projects.
The successful applicant must be presentable and have a professional telephone manner to represent the company both in the office and at industry events.

- Manage daily/weekly schedules and ensure drivers are briefed correctly on customer campaigns for the week ahead
- Work closely with the South East Business Manager to identify growth opportunities
- Ensure customer campaigns are effectively fulfilled including stock management
- Maintain company database, generating weekly reports as required
- Updating Sales and Driver databases with relevant feedback
- Researching and identifying future opportunities including venue development
- Liaise regularly with distribution team to assess and deliver quality services
- Represent Impact at industry events
- Manage Stock and keep warehouse organised
- Effectively manage time to ensure all essential weekly tasks are achieved as required
Person specification
You will be able to demonstrate suitable experience in managing your work, prioritising schedules and have enthusiasm for making the role as effective and productive as you can.
- Experience of managing workloads and schedules
- Organised, efficient and able to work to deadlines
- Good awareness of Sussex, Brighton and Kent as a region of tourism and the arts.
- Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Capable of working alone and as part of a team
- Must be computer literate –MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and able to learn Impacts own databases
- Warehouse management
- Clean driving licence
Hours & conditions
- Part Time - 2.5 days,
- Mondays and Fridays are essential, third working day to be agreed with successful candidate.
- Additional work may be available during busy periods.
- There is potentially some flexibility with the proposed working hours, although these must be agreed before accepting the role and fixed with contract. Please let us know what hours you would be able to work in your application
Salary
£17,000 per annum, pro-rata rising to £19,000 after 6 months
